Blessing way
Celebrating life
The Blessing Way ritual is a ceremony full of warmth and sharing that is organised around the 7th-8th month of pregnancy of the expectant mother.
The ceremony lasts about 3 hours and takes place in a location chosen by the expectant mother (indoors or outdoors) to allow her to enjoy a cosy, festive moment with her close friends (to maintain an intimate atmosphere) with the main values being connection, authenticity, and the beautiful, powerful energy generated..
I organise various activities according to the needs of the expectant mother (discussed together beforehand), honouring her in an intimate and nurturing setting. It is a unique moment to pamper the woman who is about to give birth and become a mother. Everything is arranged for maximum relaxation and connection so that she can receive beautiful, rejuvenating energy, love, and strength that will guide her towards the upcoming birth..
What are the benefits of the Blessing Way ?
1/ To feel loved and surrounded and to reconnect with her feminine power !
And to experience a magical moment, out of time, where they felt loved. To give plenty of love to the one who is about to bring a baby to life, reconnecting with her feminine power to give birth with more confidence.
2/ Celebrate life
The Blessing Way provides a moment of pause with oneself and loved ones to honour the life that is within her and to which she will soon give birth. She will be able to surround herself with women who will be there to reassure her, comfort her in the face of any anxieties as the birth approaches, through practical workshops, rituals, and symbolic gifts, for example.,…
3/ Moment of well-being and letting go
The pregnant woman will enjoy a moment of well-being. This ceremony encourages the mother to take care of herself..
Come and discover the benefits of other services that I offer, such as Phototherapy, to explore your story, and move towards a revaluation of yourself and a renewed confidence.
I organise it according to your needs :
1/ List the choices of the expectant mother
One of the golden rules is to respect the needs and choices of the mother (to inquire in advance about her needs, desires, and even the emotional state she is in (emotions, sensitivity,…) so that the mother feels comfortable and pampered throughout the ceremony.
2/ Where to organise the ceremony?
The Blessing Way can take place at the home of the person concerned, as well as at a friend's house or outdoors (in a park, in a yurt…). The advantage of being at home is that the space will be imbued with a gentle and prosperous energy if the mother gives birth at home..
Organising it outdoors offers the advantage of a larger space and opens up possibilities for activities. If the mother feels comfortable in nature and the weather permits, it can be planned to take place among the trees or by the seaside..
3/ Choose the rituals that will be celebrated
The activities to engage in are numerous, whether they are more creative and/or spiritual activities. However, they all have one thing in common: to create connections and encourage the mother to give birth. That is why they are generally centred around the awakening of the senses and the connection to oneself or to others..
The activities will be chosen by the expectant mother based on the location (indoor or outdoor), the selected activities, and also the budget..
Wrapped bath
A Wrapped Bath involves bathing a swaddled baby in a square of fabric. It is a true sensory and emotional experience highly recommended for newborns aged 4 days to 6 weeks. This care allows your baby to regain the sensations they experienced during 9 months in utero..
The wrapped bath offers a space of total freedom of expression that allows the newborn to be more relaxed, reassured, and at ease. It enables parents to experience a beautiful moment of connection with their baby..
Swaddling allows the baby to return to the environment they have always known for 9 months in utero (warmth, sensation of floating & rocking). It provides them with a sense of security and strengthens the bonds between parents and their baby..
A moment of calm for your newborn, to offer them comfort and security.
This treatment can :
- Facilitate the transition to extra-uterine life and help to soften traumatic births.
- Allowing the baby to regain the comforting sensory cues from their mother's womb and thus release the tensions of childbirth.
- Improve the attachment bond and parenting skills.
Relaxation is enhanced by rocking and slow, fluid movements in the water.
Emotional support for the baby (psychomotricity)
The psychoaffective support of the baby is a key stage in helping them develop their basic security and gain autonomy. During this period when they have not yet mastered their body, they may experience frustrations or anxieties..
Together, we explore adapted games that allow him to discover his skills and experience his independence, while strengthening the emotional bond with his parents.
Taking into account their psychomotor and psychological development, these individual or group sessions, offered from birth until walking, help them to thrive in an environment secured by the love and attention of their family..
